Researchers from the ORIGENAL project have realized the first operational amplifier based on the two-dimensional semiconductor MoS2, reaching a key milestone towards the vision of a flexible electronics all based on two dimensional materials. This result has just appeared in the journal Nature Electronics.

The project coordinator of ORIGENAL, Daniel Neumaier, has started in February 2020 as professor at the University of Wuppertal for the Chair of Smart Sensor Systems. Now the University of Wuppertal became a new partner of the ORIGENAL project and will additionally take over the project coordination with effect of August 1st, 2020. Technically, the University of Wuppertal will be involved in WP1 and WP3 and contribute to the development of the flexible logic and folding technology.

Kick-off meeting in Wien
All partners of the ORIGNEAL project have met in Wien for a kick-off meeting at TU Wien on November 27-28, 2019.

An intensive two-day workshop on 2D materials in Aachen
Experts from all over Europe gathered in Aachen to discuss the challenges of wafer-scale integration of 2D materials, in a workshop organized by AMO and the Aachen Graphene & 2D Materials Center.
