November Workshop of the Aachen Graphene & 2D Materials Center at SuperC

On November 15-16, 2021, the members of the Aachen Graphene & 2D Materials Center will meet up for an internal workshop, where each group will present and discuss its current research questions and latest results.

The workshop will take place in the conference rooms of the SuperC (one of the most scenic buildings at RWTH Aachen University) under strict 2G+ rules.

ORIGENAL’s coordinator Prof. Daniel Neumeier will present the latest results of his group on ” Stable TMDC encapsulation and flexible logic circuits” (see Workshop Program).

The first operational amplifier based on a two-dimensional material

Researchers from the ORIGENAL project have realized the first operational amplifier based on the two-dimensional semiconductor MoS2, reaching a key milestone towards the vision of a flexible electronics all based on two dimensional materials. This result has just appeared in the journal Nature Electronics.

The University of Wuppertal joins the ORIGENAL consortium

The project coordinator of ORIGENAL, Daniel Neumaier, has started in February 2020 as professor at the University of Wuppertal for the Chair of Smart Sensor Systems. Now the University of Wuppertal became a new partner of the ORIGENAL project and will additionally take over the project coordination with effect of August 1st, 2020. Technically, the University of Wuppertal will be involved in WP1 and WP3 and contribute to the development of the flexible logic and folding technology.
